Why we should more more
There's two good reasons and they concern us all.

Why moving more is imperative
The basis of my personal philosophy is that movement is the key to most things regarding health. What I mean by that? Well, let me flat out tell you and for this blog post I'll keep it at the very shortest. The answer to why movement is the basis of health can be divided into two levels.
The societal level
Modern everyday life (sedentary lifestyles and bad diet) creates consequences that make us feel worse. It can be anxiety, overweight, stress, depression and lots of age-related diseases (which could be delayed with proper measures).
This suffering can be partially prevented with movement, however, society is not set up that way, therefore it is a daily struggle we have to perform. Nature gave us physical struggles in the past, but today we have to create our own physical struggle.
The societal level, also known as the environment, influences everyone indirectly, so to feel better individually we want to have happier people around us.
We need to make movement the new normal again.
Individual level
We should also move more because it has an instant effect on our individual mood. We cannot solve the major societal health issues anyway if we are not healthy and well ourselves. It starts with you.
I believe that the easiest way to achieve better health is to start by moving more as the primary step in any plan for health, personal growth or goals. Movement will then trigger a domino effect of positive changes in other areas of our lives. Don't get me wrong, diet and sleep are hugely important too, but they are also way more complex areas to really understand and apply in everyday life.
Exercise on the other hand is understood. It is not rocket science, despite what some gurus may have you believe.
If we just move more, our sleep and diet will automatically improve.
Hard physical work leads to better sleep. And better sleep leads to better food choices the next day. Better everyday choices brings one closer to the long term goals. - it's all connected.
This is not an easy task, though. It requires a level of active thought, and this is exactly what Unmodernize is all about: active thought and self-improvement.
